Mrs. Wm. Beireis Dies in Albert Lea

Mrs. Aureal C. Beireis, 83, long time Eagle Grove resident, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Bromley, in Albert Lea, Minn. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Kastler Babcock Funeral home with the Rev. Donald Forbes officiating. Mrs. Beireis was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Bromley and Mrs. Vera Mae Akins, of Kansas City, Kans. Fourteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Her husband, Wm. Beireis, died some years ago.

Aureal Hopkins was born in Eagle Grove and graduated from high school there in 1905. She was
a teacher in the rural schools for several years and was later employed in the printing office at
the Eagle Grove Eagle as a type setter. In 1910 she married William G. Beireis at Blairsburg and they made their home in Eagle Grove.
