CLARION -Funeral services for the Rev. Benjamin R. Price, 66, who died Monday at Clarion, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Methodist Church, Clarion, and at 3 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Chapel, David City, Neb.

Burial will be in the David City cemetery.

Price, who formerly preached in the Mason City district, is survived by his wife, Lucille, one daughter, Mrs. Harold Workman, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren.

Funeral for Rev. B. R. Price

The Rev. Benjamin R. Price, 66, died Monday at Clarion Memorial Hospital. He was a former pastor of United Methodist Church in Goldfield. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Clarion; then the casket will be taken to David City, Neb., where services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in David City Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the David City Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, daughter, Mrs. Harold Workman, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren.

The Rev. Mr. Price was born at Thayer, Neb. and educated at York, Neb. He married Lucile E. Mahlin in David City in 1933. They lived in York until he joined the U. S. Army during World War II, and after the war moved to Lincoln, Neb.

Rev. Price was pastor of the United Methodist Church in Goldfield from 1960 to 1967, when he retired and moved to Clarion. He had been in ill health for some time.

He belonged to the American Legion Post in Clarion.

Services Here Friday For Rev. Benjamin Price

Funeral services for Rev. Benjamin Price, 66, will be conducted this afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Clarion, Ia., and Friday afternoon at three o’clock from David City Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Merle Zook of Lincoln officiating.

The Rev. Mr. Price, a World War II veteran, died Monday at Clarion, Ia. Military honors will be conferred at graveside in David City Cemetery by a veterans group from York.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lucille Mahlin of David City; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Workman of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; and two grandchildren.

Services Held In Iowa And Here For Rev. B. R. Price

Funeral services for Rev. Benjamin R. Price, 66, a retired United Methodist minister, were held at Clarion, Ia., on June 27 and from the David City Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 28, 1974, with the Rev. Merle Zook of Lincoln officiating.

Mrs. Harold Stryker was organist, and vocalists were Mrs. Don Ellison and Mrs. Don Mahlin. Pallbearers were Marvin Lnenicka, Charles Lnenicka, Don Mahlin, Kenneth Mahlin, Calvin Stream and Harold Stryker. Burial was in the David City Cemetery with military honors conducted by veterans from David City and York.

Benjamin Raymond Price, the son of Benjamin T. and LuJella Sheets Price, was born at Thayer, Nebr., on February 9, 1908, and died at the Clarion Community Hospital on June 24, 1974.

He was united in marriage to Lucile Mahlin at David City on July 2, 1933. To this union was born one daughter.
