HENRY L. SCHREIBER
Henry Lester Schreiber was born on December 22, 1917, at Livermore, Iowa, to Henry Oliver and Belle Peterson Schreiber. He was united in marriage to Mae Elizabeth Ennen on October 26, 1941, at Britt, Iowa. He farmed all of his life in various locations: Britt, Garner, Iowa, Kanawha, Iowa, and Woolstock, Iowa. In 1988, he retired and moved into Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Henry L. Schreiber died Wednesday, December 8, 1999, at his home, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Mae, Eagle Grove; three daughters, Judy Ritter and husband, Jim, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Marjorie Kuebrich and husband, Terry, Montrose, Colo., and Gloria Riekens, and husband, George, Jr., Lake Mills, Iowa; four sons, Gerald and wife, Mary, Kanawha; Richard and wife, Elaine, Garner; Kenneth and wife, Julie, Knierim, Iowa, and Merlin and wife, Michele, Dubuque, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Peter, Fort Dodge, Iowa; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harold, Ernie, Leon, and Allan; and four sisters, Marcella, Myrtle, Dorothy, and Stella.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 11, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Woolstock with the Reverend Bill VanNostrand officiating. Burial was held in the Evergreen Cemetery at Britt. Willim Funeral Home, of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
