HAROLD R. GODFREDSEN

Harold Raymond Godfredsen, 41, died Sunday in Laurel Hospital. A native of Goldfield, Ia., he was a resident of 1465 E. Fifth St., Highland. He was a Norton Air Force Base employe.

He is survived by his wife, Frances E. Godfredsen; three sons, Ronald, John and James Marlen Godfredsen; one daughter, Harleen Godfredsen, all of Highland; and two brothers residing in Iowa.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Stephens & Bobbitt Mortuary.

Rosary for Harold Raymond Godfredsen was recited Tuesday evening in Stephens & Bobbitt Chapel. The body will be forwarded Wednesday to Algona, Ia., for final services and interment.

Godfredsen Rites At St. Benedict

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Benedict Catholic church for Harold Godfredsen, 41, a former Lakota resident.

Mr. Godfredsen, a Highland, Cal., resident, died Nov. 30 in a San Bernardino hospital where he had been since Nov. 7 when he suffered a stroke.

Born Oct. 30, 1911, at Goldfield, Iowa, Mr. Godfredsen was the son of Chris and Etta Godfredsen. On Feb. 18, 1936, he married Frances Kellner of St. Benedict. After residing at Lakota for a number of years, he moved with his family to California in 1942. For the last several years he had been employed at Norton Air Force Base at San Bernardino.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, Harleen Ann, 14; and three sons, Ronald, 11; John, 2; and James, 9 months. Also surviving are two brothers, Wilbur of Lake Mills, and Ernest of Titonka.

Father Ahmann officiated at services. Pallbearers were Bernard Brunning, Clarence Recker, Wilbur Dailey, Magnus Rahm, August Studer, and Axel Carlson. Burial was in St. Benedict Catholic cemetery.

Hamilton funeral home of Algona was in charge of arrangements.

Harold Godfredsen Services Held

TITONKA – Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Benedict for Harold Godfredsen, former Titonka resident, but residing at Highland Park, Calif., the past several years. He suffered stroke and developed complications which caused his death. His brother Ernest in Titonka, and his wife, a former St. Benedict girl, survive.
