Robert Paskin rites Tuesday

Robert Paskin, father of Mrs. W. J. (Bill) Platts, 644 S. Louisiana, died Sunday in a Mason City nursing home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in the cemetery at Goldfield.

Robert Paskin Burial In Glenwood Cemetery

Robert Bruce Paskin, 77, died Sunday morning April 16 at the Americana Nursing Home in Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Tuesday April 18, at the Kastler- Babcock Funeral Home at Eagle Grove, Iowa. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield, Ia. with the Rev. Ronald Cowles of the Renwick Baptist Church officiating at the services.

Born and raised in the Renwick and Goldfield area, he was the son of William and Anna Dey Paskin. He moved to Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, in 1917 and was united in marriage to Katherine Larsen in 1918 at Morgan, Minnesota.

He is survived by five children. Katherine, (Mrs. Merle Esmay), East Lansing, Michigan; Eileen, (Mrs. Russell Cameron) Renwick, Mildred, (Mrs. William Platts) Mason City, Frank Paskin, Gridley, Kansas; Ben Paskin, Providence, Rhode Island, also 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters and two brothers; Ethel, (Mrs. John) Sheets, Goldfield; Lillian (Mrs. Sam Douglas), Clarion; Ruth (Mrs. Adolph Carlson), Kanawha; Miss Jane Paskin, William Paskin and Virgil Paskin of Goldfield. He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine, two sons Robert and an infant son Tommy and one sister, Mrs. Nels Jensen.
