Former Resident To Be Buried Today
Funeral services will be held today in Kenyon, Minn., for a former Eagle Grove resident, Joseph Nodland. Mr. Nodland, died December 8th, in the hospital at Zumbrota, Minn. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Truman, Ardith, Elwood and Virgil and one daughter Marian, Mrs. Roland Larson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas, of Frost, Minn., and Solvie of Rockwell, Iowa and a sister, Mrs. Ola Aukland of this city.

Mr. Nodland was born in Ottawa, Ill. and moved with his parents to a farm near Badger in 1897. In 1906 he was married to Ena Sebby of Eagle Grove and they lived on a farm here from 1910 to 1923 when they moved to a farm near Wanamingo, Minn.

Funeral services will be at the Dale Lutheran church in Kenyon, conducted by Rev. A. J. Thorson, brother of Carl Thorson of Eagle Grove.
