Last Rites For Mrs. W. L. Hagerhorst

Funeral services were held Monday morning, July 3rd at 10:30 at the Kastler Funeral Home for Mrs. W. L. Hagerhorst. Mrs. Hagerhorst died early Saturday morning in Sacred Heart hospital, LeMars, where she had been a patient for six days. Last October Mrs. Hagerhorst had an operation for cancer, but had recovered sufficiently to enjoy fair health and her usual activities during tho winter and spring. Her condition became serious about two weeks ago and she decided to enter a hospital for care.

Mr. Hagerhorst died in 1934, and she has no immediate relatives surviving.

Rev. Walter Ross was in charge of the funeral rites, and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary
Kate Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Martin Long, was born at Edina, Missouri, November 2, 1876. She was united in marriage to William L. Hagerhorst at St. Louis, Mo., September 4, 1905. They moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa, where they continued to make their home. Mrs. Hagerhorst was a resident here for almost forty-five years. Mr. Hagerhorst preceded her in death in 1934.

She was a member of the Congregational church in Eagle Grove. She was also a member of Eagle Chapter No. 114, Order of the Eastern Star and Sharon Shrine No. 14 in Eagle Grove.

She died July 1, 1950 at LeMars, Iowa, where she had been in the hospital just under a week.

Eagle Grove — Funeral services for Mrs. W. L. Hagerhorst, 74, who died Saturday, were held Monday morning at the Kastler funeral home. She had been an Eagle Grove resident for 45 years.
