MARGUERITE RUSSELL
Marguerite Caroline Russell was born May 31, 1904 to Antone and Winnifred Bauman Moser at Chenoa, Ill. When she was three years old, the family moved to Vincent. After her early education, she attended a private finishing school at Carroll. On December 29, 1925 she was united in marriage with Frank Russell at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. The couple farmed at Eagle Grove and Clarion and retired to Clarion in 1962. Mr. Russell died on May 29, 1965.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and St. Rose Circle.

Marguerite Caroline Russell, 90, died Tuesday evening, November 8, 1994 at her home. Survivors include her six children, Leo, Eagle Grove; Shirley Benton, Eagle Grove; Marjorie Neville, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; Dr. Thomas, Glenview, Ill.; James, Clarion; and Kathy Keeling, Clarion; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sister Mary Faith, South Bend, Ind.; Clarice Buhner, Eagle Grove; and Mildred Brown, Richmond, Va. Her parents, husband, brother, Nicholas, sister, Bernice Larson, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Wayne Droessler at St. John's Catholic Church in Clarion on Saturday morning. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. The Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements.
