Christ M Lilleskau
8 November 1888 –---- 10 March 1958

Christ Mandius Lilleskau, was born of parents Jacob and Leva Lilleskau, Nov. 8, 1888 on a farm southwest of Eagle Grove. He was brought to Christ as an infant in Holy Baptism at Enes Lutheran Church. After receiving the usual instruction in the Christian faith, he was confirmed in the same church. He passed away at Chicago Monday, March 10 at 5:20 p.m after a lingering illness. December 23, 1914 he was united in marriage to Anna Williamson. They established their home on his father's farm south west of Eagle Grove. In the spring of 1918 they moved to a farm he purchased near Glenville, Minn. In 1926 they moved to Chicago where he lived the rest of his life. While at Chicago he was a machinist. In 1953 he retired on account of poor health. Mr. Lilleskau was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ben and Thomas and one sister Lena. He is survived by his wife, one brother Louis of Dows, four sisters Anna (Mrs. Louis Farland), Des Moines, Carrie (Mrs. Tom Reinertson), Kelley, Julia (Mrs. Hilmer Hanson), Lake Mills, Mary (Mrs. Rea Wallin), Glenville, Minn., several nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from Kastler Funeral home Saturday March 15 at 3 p.m. Pastor B. M. Molstre officiated. Mrs. L. E. Cupp and Mrs. Carl Sunner sang and were accompanied by Mrs. Gladys Wicks. Interment was made at Rose Hill Cemetery.
