Former Eagle Grove resident Alice M. Palm, 86, of Denver, Colo, died December 21, 1994 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. She was cremated at Horan and McConaty. Her remains were sent to Boone, Iowa where her husband, Clarence L., who passed away in 1967, is buried in Lynwood Park Cemetery. Alice [Wheeler] Palm was born November 15, 1908 in Boone and was employed as a secretary with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. She also lived in Chicago, Ill., Tama, and Eagle Grove where she worked for Leuthold, Griffith Clothing, and Fisher's Shoe Store in the early 60's. She moved to Denver, Colo, in 1968 with her son and was an employee for the state of Colorado. Survivors include her son Gerald L. Palm, Denver, Colo.; daughter Judy E. Gates of Blue Springs, Mo., and grandchildren, Renee and Greg.
