George Franklin Larick
January 11, 1869 – May 26, 1901

G. F. Larick died at his home in this city Sunday morning, May 26th, after only a few days illness with pneumonia. Mr. Larick was a steady, industrious, fine young man, respected by all who knew him. He delivered ice for Mr. Mulligan last year and this year was working the small farm of J. L. Munson's, north of town. He leaves a wife and three small children to mourn his untimely death. He was a member of the local camp M. W. A. and left a beneficiary certificate in that noble order for his bereaved wife. The funeral was held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Sunday morning about 11 o'clock occurred the death, at his home in the north part of town, of Frank Larick. The deceased had been sick for some time with a severe cold which developed into pneumonia and this took him away quickly. He was given all the assistance that loving hands could administer, but it was of no avail and he could not overcome the ravages of disease. Mr. Larick had been engaged in farming on his own property and promised to do well this season. He was married some years ago to Miss Alice Watkins and to them were born three children, all of them living, and with the mother and wife left to mourn the loss of a good husband and a kind father. They have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
