Services for John F. Labus Here Saturday
Funeral services for John F. Labus, 81, were held at the Kastler Funeral home Saturday, March 25. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. The Rev. Francis J. Phelan, pastor of the Sacred Heart Catholic church officiated.

Mr. Labus was taken suddenly ill and died Thursday, March 23 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Bernie Nervig in Eagle Grove. Mr. Labus came to the United States when he was a two year old baby. He moved from Ohio to Iowa and this community in 1920 and has lived here since. He was employed by the city of Eagle Grove for many years.

He is survived by two daughters Mrs. Nervig (Ann) and Mrs. Floyd Pohlman, both of Eagle Grove, and one son, Louis of Des Moines.
