Harry S. Anfinson Dies at the age of 93

HOLMES, IA — Harry S. Anfinson, 93, died Sunday
afternoon at his farm home four miles north of Holmes. Services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Holmes Lutheran Church with burial in Holmes Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, the Misses Johanna Anfinson, Chicago, Ill.; Hilda Anfinson, Mason City; and Olena at the home in Holmes. Mr. Anfinson was born in Cambridge, Iowa, attended the Cambridge schools and married Randy Holland in 1904 in Eagle Grove. He had lived in Story County for 22 years, before coming to Wright County, where he had lived for 71 years, 62 on the present farm, where he died. Mrs. Anfinson died in 1938.
