Agent Dies At Dunnell
Edwin I. Carder, 72, Passes Away After Brief Illness; Burial in Eagle Grove

Edwin I. Carder of Dunnell, Minn., passed away Thursday at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Carder, who was 72 years old at the time of his death, has been a depot agent at the M. & St. L. railroad in Dunnell for the past two years. Prior to that he lived in Minneapolis for twelve years.

Mr. Carder was born in Indiana, Feb. 17, 1863. The body was shipped to Eagle Grove for burial. He is survived by one son, Vern W. Carder of Dunnell and one grandchild. Also two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Carder died couple of years ago.

EDWARD E. CARDER -- Funeral services for Edward E. Carder, a former Minneapolis resident, who died Thursday at Dunnell, Minn., will be at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakewood chapel, with burial at Lakewood cemetery. He was an employee of the Minneapolis & St. Louis railroad 19 years and for the past year and a half had been station agent at Dunnell. He was a member of Joppa Masonic lodge. Surviving are a son, Vern Carder; two brothers and a sister.
