FORMER RESIDENT MEETS DEATH IN MISSOURI
Word has been received of the recent death of Mrs. Beatrice L. Johnson, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, former Hawarden and Eagle Grove resident. Mrs. Johnson was born in Missouri and was married there to Charles B. Langmade, a clerk for the North Western railroad depot in Hawarden at one time. Mr. Langmade preceded her in death. She is survived by her present husband and one son, Jack Langmade of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, and one daughter, Mrs. Florence Donegan of El Paso, Texas. She had five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs Beatrice L. Johnson, 75, Poplar Bluff, Mo., former Eagle Grove resident, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Cemetery [in Eagle Grove] with the Rev. Arthur W. Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Johnson died Friday morning at Doctor's Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Survivors include her husband, Poplar Bluff, Mo., one son. Jack Langmade, Cherokee Village, Ark. and one daughter, Mrs Florence Donegan, El Paso, Texas, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, James Howard Roman, of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Crystal Conley, San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Gladys Shawl, Santa Ana, Calif.

Mrs Johnson, was born in Missouri and was married there to Charles B. Langmade. Mr. Langmade who was with the Chicago and North Western R. R. died a number of years ago.

She made her home here for some time after his death later moving to Boone and El Paso, Tex., where her children were living. She was married to Walter Johnson and they have lived in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
