Letta Agnethe Christensen Olson

20 February 1885 ---- 10 June 1913

Mrs. R. P. Olson of Dubuque, daughter of Nels Christensen of this city died at the Illinois Central depot in Ft. Dodge Tuesday. She had gone to Ft. Dodge for treatment in Kime's sanitarium for tuberculosis but died a few minutes after being taken from the train. She was accompanied by her husband. The remains were brought to Eagle Grove Tuesday evening and the funeral will be held at the United Lutheran church this afternoon at 2:30. Two weeks ago her babe [Donald Richard Olson] died and was brought here for burial. She leaves four living children.

The funeral of Mrs. Richard Olson was held today in Eagle Grove. The family lived in Webster City until last fall when they moved to Dubuque where Mr. Olson was a baggage man. Mrs. Olson had been taken to the Dr. Kime sanitarium at Fort Dodge,
for tuberculosis but she died shortly after arriving there. She is survived by her husband and four children, Gladys, Laura, Aileen and Lucile. She was but 28 years of age and her death is very, untimely. Only a few weeks ago Mr. Olson was here and buried their 16 months old babe, and he is bearing a double affliction. She leaves besides her husband and children, parents, five brothers and four sisters.
