September 4, 1892 --- August 7, 1967

Grover S. Yoder, Sr., a long time resident and farmer of this community, died early Monday morning at the Clarion Hospital, where he had surgery Saturday. Had Mr. Yoder lived until Sept. 4 he would have been 75 years. Surviving are his wife and 11 children, Martin, Bernard and Cedric all of Woolstock, Mrs. Venetta Kepler of Des Moines, Mrs. Fayetta Hanus of Blairsburg, Mrs. Lester Stangeland of Jewell, Grover, Jr, of Woolstock, Mrs. Earl LaRue of Des Moines, Mrs. Donald Lindstrom of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Merl Smith of Des Moines, and Mrs. Robert Fisher of Woolstock.

One son, Donald, died June 17, 1963. One brother, George Yoder of Mankato, Minnesota, 40 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p m Wednesday in the Woolstock Methodist church with the Rev. D. R. Draper of Vincent officiating.
