Mrs. Larson Dies in City
Mrs. H. M. Larson, 69, Webster City, died at Hamilton county hospital last evening. She had suffered a stroke Friday morning about 9 o'clock at her home, 530 Walnut street. Funeral services will be held at the McCauley-Chapman funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Oliver A. Enersen of this city and Rev. W. R. Yard officiating. Burial will be at Eagle Grove.Anna Belle Humble, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Humble, was born in Peoria, Ill., Sept. 17, 1885. She came to Iowa in 1894, and had lived in Webster City the past 12 years. In 1920, she was united in marriage to Horace M. Larson.
Surviving are two sisters: Miss Elsie Humble of Webster City and Mrs. A. G. LaBrant of Davenport; two brothers, Jim and Earl Humble, both of Webster City, and eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, who died in 1948. Mrs. Larson was a member of the First Baptist church, and took part in church activities as long as her health permitted.
