L. F. Watkins Died Wednesday
Word reached Eagle Grove Wednesday of the death of L. F. Watkins that morning at his home near Burt. Pernicious anemia was the cause of his death, an affliction he has been fighting for many years. The remains will be brought to Eagle Grove for burial. The funeral services will be held next Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Baptist church. Mr. Watkins formerly lived on a farm east of Eagle Grove. He moved to Eagle Grove several years ago and about four years ago moved onto his farm near Burt. He is survived by his wife, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Y. McCormick, one daughter and two sons.
