Elsie French Dies Was Missionary

Word has been received of the death of Elsie French of of Monroe, Ohio. Miss French spent her life on the Mission field of the United Presbyterian Church, and only last year retired to a church home at Monroe. She remained active until the last, and only a week before her death gave an address in a church at Middletown, Ohio, was taken ill on Wednesday and passed away the following Sabbath. Her parents were former Clarion residents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. French, where Mr. French was engaged in business. She was also a cousin of F. Ross Henry, and also has a cousin in Eagle Grove and Goldfield.

Elsie French Dies At Monroe, Ohio

Elsie French of Monroe, Ohio passed away Sunday. She was at one time a Goldfield resident. She had returned a year ago from Egypt where she had been a Missionary for many years and retired. Funerals services were held at Monroe Tuesday morning at the Presbyterian Church.
