27 December 1929 ---- 13 February 1932

Hilda Oliva Halverson was born to John M. and Inga Halverson at Eagle Grove, Iowa, Dec. 27, 1929 and died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1932, age 2 years, one month, and 17 days. She was baptized into Christ Jesus April 23, 1930, and after a brief time of only about two years was called to receive the inheritance as a reward. A cold, which turned into pneumonia, seemed to be the cause of her sudden death. She leaves to mourn her departure her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Halverson, two brothers and one sister: Joseph age 6 years, Irene, age 4 years and Carl 4 months old.

Hilda's life was not long, but her work was finished. Surely the hearts of those who loved her will be drawn after her to love her Saviour. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 15 from the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church. Burial was made in the Rose Hill cemetery.
