Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the United Church of Christ for Donald T. Frank, 58, in charge of Rev. P. R. Halverson, pastor of the Holmes Baptist Church. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Frank died Thursday, August 14th after an illness of several months during which he had been hospitalized several times.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lura Weinhold, and the family resides on their farm southwest of Eagle Grove. Also surviving are four children, Dale of Charles City, Wayne of Sigourney, Myrle at home and Doryce, Mrs. Donald Halverson of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Merlin Hornberger of Tonasket, Mich [Wash]., and Mrs. Robert Stoneking of Colchester, Ill.

Obituary

Donald Travis Frank was born February 9, 1911, at Underwood, North Dakota, the son of John and Minnie Fritz Frank.

He was educated in the Woodlake, Minnesota school.

He was united in marriage to Lura Weinhold of Eagle Grove, on August 22, 1935 at Eagle Grove. The couple made then home here for five years before moving to the Britt, Iowa and Austin, Minn., areas for seven years. They returned to Eagle Grove and have made their home here since that time.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank had become the parents of four children all of them survive. They are sons: Dale Frank, Charles City, Wayne Frank, Sigourney, Myrle Frank, Eagle Grove, one daughter, Doryce, Mrs. Donald Halverson, Eagle Grove.

Mr. Frank died at his home on Thursday, August 14 after a long illness. At the time of his death, he was 58 years, 5 months and 5 days of age.

In addition to his children he is survived by his wife, four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Merlin Hornberger of Tonasket, Wash., and Mrs. Robert Stoneking of Colchester, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Martin.

Mr. Frank was a member of the United Church of Christ of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 16 at the United Church of Christ in Eagle Grove, with the Rev. P. R. Halverson officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove.
