21 March 1893 ---- 2 October 1970

Jacob B. (Jake) Rinnels, 77, of Foxhome, Minn., died Friday at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. Funeral services will be at 2 Tuesday at the United Methodist Church at Foxhome with Rev. Royal Steiner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens at Wahpeton. Visitation will be Monday (today) afternoon and evening with a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 12 noon at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge and at the church one hour prior to services.

Mr. Rinnels was born March 21, 1893, at Goodell, Iowa. He serviced in the Infantry Division in World War I. He married Ella Baumgartner Sept. 15, 1920, at Breckenridge. He was employed most of his life by the P. H. Gust Elevator at Foxhome. He retired 12 years ago. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 376, the Last Man's Club and World War I Veterans' Barracks No. 746, all at Rothsay.

He is survived by his wife; two sons and two daughters, LaVern of Breckenridge, Kenneth of Santa Rosa, Calif. Mrs. Herman (Hilda) Henrichs in Montana, Mrs. Roy (Maxine) Mittag of Ottertail City, Minn.; three brothers and a sister, Herman of Allison, Iowa, Ehme of Floyd, Iowa, John of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Mrs. Sarah Lynk of Ackley, Iowa; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
