Rites set for Meinders infant at Belmond
BELMOND - Walter Meinders Jr., 9-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meinders, died early Monday at the Belmond Community Hospital. His father, stationed with the U.S. Air Force in France has come home on emergency leave.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Johnston Funeral Home here. The Rev. M. L. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery.

Surviving are his parents, three sisters, Debra, Caroline, Anita; brother Darrell; grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Nels Bock, Goodell and Mrs. and Mrs. Albert Roper of South Carolina.
