ENGINEER TYCK BURIED MONDAY

Veteran Northwestern Engineer Victim of Pernicious Anaemia. Ill Nearly a Year.

Engineer George Tyck died at his home on South Iowa avenue last Friday night. For the past year or more, Mr. Tyck has been fighting off the ravages of anaemia. He made his last run on the road last November. Since that time his condition has grown steadily worse, except when he rallied after numerous blood transfusions. Relief from this source was only temporary and death came to his relief late Friday night.

Mr. Tyck was a kindly, generous friend, a good neighbor, and a capable and dependable employee of the Northwestern. The company had confidence in his ability as an engineer, and reluctantly placed him on the pension list but a few weeks ago. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all in the hour of their great sorrow.
