Megan Sue Schultz was born on April 9, 1990, the daughter of Douglas Kent and Candy Sue Hanus Schultz at Clarion, Iowa. She was a member of Mrs. Neighbors' kindergarten class at Lela Howland Elementary in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Megan passed away at Hamilton County Public Hospital in Webster City, Iowa following injuries received during a house fire at the family residence in Eagle Grove.

She is survived by her parents, Doug and Candy Schultz; brothers, Cory and Daniel; and a sister, Chrissy Schultz, all at home; grandparents: Jerry and Pat Schultz of Eagle Grove, Roberta McKinniss and her husband Mick of Canehill, Ark. and Harold Hanus of Carroll, Iowa; great-grandparents, Gladys Wicks, Vena Schultz and Homer Wicks all of Eagle Grove. Megan was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Wesley Schultz.

Funeral services for Megan Sue Schultz were held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1995 at the Samuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. The Reverend Carlton Shaw officiated at the 1 p.m. services and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Willim Funeral Homes Ltd. was in charge of arrangements.
