December 28, 1888 --- January 16, 1981

Mrs. Johanna A. Cline, 92, died Friday morning at Trinity Regional Hospital. She was a resident of the Marion Home in Fort Dodge.

Services were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with Msgr. E. L. McEvoy, Marion Home chaplain officiating. Burial was in Wall Lake Cemetery, Wall Lake.

Among the survivors are a son, Robert H. Cline of Newport Beach, Calif., three grandchildren and one great grandchild, two sisters, Miss Marie Quinn and Mrs. Clark Eide both of Fort Dodge, two brothers, John Quinn of Minneapolis, Minn, and Francis P. Quinn of Seattle, Wash.

Johanna Quinn was born at Lake View and attended school there, graduating from Lake View High School. She attended State University of Iowa, Iowa City, and later taught school. She married Harry H. Cline in 1922 at Lakeview. They established their home in Des Moines.

Mrs. Cline was employed as a bookkeeper at the Fort Des Moines Hotel. Later the Clines made their home in Cedar Rapids, Fort Dodge, Clarion, Iowa Falls and for 35 years resided in Eagle Grove. Mr. Cline was employed 26 years with International Harvester Company. He preceded her in death in 1974. A short time later Mrs. Cline became a resident of the Marion Home in Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Bessie Quinn who died in November 1980.
