October 3, 1907 --- June 8, 1994

Blanche M. McCombs, 86, of 1046 65th St., Windsor Heights, died of cancer Wednesday at Hospice Kavanagh House, 900 56th St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. McCombs was born in Kossuth County and lived in the Des Moines area many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Windsor Presbyterian Church, Des Moines Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Women's International Bowling Congress.

Surviving are her husband, Dale; a son, William of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
