A. H. Cleveland Rites Monday

Services for Arthur H. Cleveland of 1406 Sixty-fifth st., died of a heart attack Friday at the Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Sandvig Funeral Home, Eagle Grove.

Burial will be at the Goldfield Cemetery, Goldfield.

Mr. Cleveland was born in Wright County and lived most of his life in Goldfield. He moved to Des Moines in 1958. He was a retired farmer and member of the Presbyterian Church of Goldfield.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Blanche McCombs and Miss Winifred Cleveland, both of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Pierce, of Lansing, Mich.; and one grandson.

Funeral Monday For A. H. Cleveland

Arthur Cleveland, 88, a former longtime Goldfield resident, died Friday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Sandvig Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Mr. Cleveland, born in Wright County, was engaged in farming for many years and later was in county road maintenance work. During World War II, he was employed at the hemp plant in Eagle Grove. For the past eight years he had resided in Des Moines with a daughter, Mrs. Dale McCombs.

Mr. Cleveland's wife, Emma, died in 1935. Besides Mrs. McCombs, he is survived by another daughter, Miss Winifred Cleveland, also of Des Moines, one grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Ellen Pierce of Lansing, Mich.
