Mrs. Ross Dodge, 82, La Sierra, Calif., former Sioux City resident, died Tuesday morning at a hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. Mrs. Dodge, the former Nina Sorenson, was born Aug. 19, 1895 [in Eagle Grove, Iowa]. She had resided in California since 1945. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 173, in Sioux City. She was married in 1915 in Sioux City to Ross Dodge. Mr. Dodge died in 1960. Mrs. Dodge was visiting a daughter, Juliane Strife, in Ottumwa, Iowa, when she became ill. Survivors include three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, none in the Siouxland area.
