AUSTIN, MN -- Paul W. Knoble, 82, a resident of St. Mark's Lutheran Home and formerly of Woodhaven Addition in Austin, died this morning (Nov. 12, 1991) at St. Olaf Hospital here.

Born Sept. 13, 1909, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, he grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1929. He married Ruth Heimsness on Aug. 1, 1938. Mr. Knoble worked for Geo. A. Hormel & Co. for 39 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and belonged to the Elks Club.

Survivors include his wife, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Lange of Mitchell, S.D. A brother, a sister and twin infant sons preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Wesley J. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
