Funeral services for George William Fisher, 67, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. H. W. Schiller was in charge.

Mr. Fisher died Friday morning at Bethesda General Hospital, Fort Dodge where he had been a patient one week.

He is survived by one brother Roy of Webster City and one sister Mrs. Ellen Whiting of Johnson, Vermont.

Obituary

George William Fisher was born July 31, 1905, near Eagle Grove, Ia., the son of Henry and Anna Bergman Fisher.

He received his education in the country school near Eagle Grove.

During the early years of his life, George was engaged in farming in the Eagle Grove area. He retired from farming in 1945 and moved to Eagle Grove.

George then worked as a carpenter for many years in Eagle Grove.

He became ill at his home last Thursday, summoned neighbors to his home to help him. They called a doctor, and he sent George to the hospital where he passed away one week later at the age of 67 years, four months, and 28 days of age on December 22.

He is survived by his brother Roy Fisher of Webster City, and one sister Mrs. Ellen Whiting of Johnson, Vermont.

George was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lillie; three brothers, Gust, Carl and Jay.

Funeral services were held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home Sunday. Rev. H. W. Schiller officiated at the 2:00 p.m. services and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove.
