Services For Mrs. Norris Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. H. R. Norris will be held Thursday afternoon (today) at 2 p.m. in the Kastler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Norris died Tuesday morning in a Rochester, Minn., hospital following a heart attack suffered Friday, June 2. Rev. David Lawrence of Centerville, Iowa, pastor of the Plymouth Brethren church in that city will officiate. Rev. Lawrence is a brother-in-law of Dr. Norris. Dr. and Mrs. Norris maintained their membership in the Plymouth Brethren church even though they had been affiliated with the Methodist church here and were active in its program.

Mrs. Norris was born Edith Boyd Nov. 9, 1890 in Brazil, Iowa. She was married to Dr. Harry Norris on Dec. 31, 1912 in Ottumwa, Iowa and came here immediately to live where Dr. Norris had started his practice following graduation in June from the State University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

She is survived by three sons, William of Burlington, like his father practicing Orthodontia, James, also of Burlington and Robert, practicing Orthodontia in Clinton; also five grandchildren, two sisters, Addie Coffin of Goodland, Kansas and Stella Nicely of Auburn, Kansas.

Mrs. Norris had been in poor health for several years and was being treated for a circulatory condition when she suffered the fatal heart attack. Flowers were Mrs. Norris' hobby and she and the doctor were interested in and active in the affairs of the Eagle Grove country club. Dr. and Mrs. Norris had a summer home on the North Shore of Lake Superior and it was their pleasure to spend as much time as possible at this summer home. They were also frequent visitors to the southland and particularly Florida in the winter months.
