Graveside services for Richard D. Prehm, 33, of Ames, were held at Rose Hill cemetery Wednesday afternoon about 4 p. m. Richard died Monday following a heart attack at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Prehm in Ames. Funeral services were held at 1:30 at the Duckworth Funeral Home in Ames, in charge of the Rev. Lloyd Meyer, pastor of The Church of the Open Bible, here.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Naomi, one brother John of Ames, and five sisters, Mrs. Robert Neumann, West Des Moines; Mrs. Bernard Case, Clarion; Mrs. Ray McCoy, Columbus, Ind.; and Peggy Jean and Marilyn Prehm at home in Ames.

Dick was born in Eagle Grove on Nov. 15th, 1915. He graduated from Eagle Grove high school in 1935, and in spite of a handicap which resulted from a bone disease with which he was stricken at the age of 13, he attended college, and completed a commercial course. For many years he was employed in the office of the Kist Transfer company here, and of late has been employed by an oil company in Ames.

Among other relatives who survive are his grandmother Mrs. Hannah Musk of this city.
