Mina M., daughter of Robert and Mary Dinsdale Fothergill, was born at Traer, Iowa on August 30, 1881 and passed away at her home, 201 South Commercial Avenue, Eagle Grove, on June 5, 1951. At this time she was 69 years, 9 months and 5 days of age.

The greater part of her life was lived in the community of her death, having attended the grade and high school here, graduating with the class of 1899. This was the eighth class to graduate from the Eagle Grove High School and at the present time there are eight of that graduating class still residing here. Early in life she was interested in the Church and Sunday School, being baptized and becoming a member of the Methodist Church and she has remained a member since.

On April 15, 1903 she was united in marriage to Martin K. Frey at the home of her parents on South Iowa Avenue. To this union were born three daughters, they being Gertrude, now Mrs. Benjamin F. Kilgore of Des Moines; Marian, now Mrs. Loren T. Jones of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Harriet of Hammond, Indiana. Mrs. Frey is survived by her husband, Martin K. Frey and the three daughters and three grandchildren. She is the last of her own immediate family having been preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Frey was very well known in the community and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star and the White Shrine and many many other societies active for the community's good. She was very faithful to her home and family and will be greatly missed by them and her large circle of friends.

Services were held Friday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Harrison G. Dawes in charge and interment was made on the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove, Iowa.
