Interment Here For L. D. Fothergill
Interment services were held on Monday afternoon at the family grave in Rose Hill cemetery for the ashes of Lawrence D. Fothergill, who died June 29th at his home in Los Angeles, Calif.

OBITUARY
Lawrence Dinsdale Fothergill was born May 1, 1874 on a farm near Traer, Iowa, the son of Robert and Mary Dinsdale Fothergill. In 1882 the family moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa where he grew to manhood. He was associated with C. Christensen in the shoe business for many years, later engaging in the business by himself. Twenty years ago he moved to Los Angeles, Calif. where he has since resided. He was married to Daisy Bliss, December 25, 1900.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Dr. Robt. Fothergill of Wilmington, Del.; Mrs. Lucile Fritchel, Scotia, N. Y.; Mrs. Dorothy Harper, Englewood, Calif.; Harold Fothergill, Forks, Wash. Also six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. M. K. Frey of Eagle Grove, Ia.

He had been in failing health for the past year and passed away at his home in Los Angeles, Calif., on June 29, 1947. Funeral services were held at the Utter-McKinley Viewpark Chapel there July 2nd and his ashes interred in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove, Iowa Monday, July 14th.
