Mrs. Roy Fischer, 75, died Saturday morning at the Clarion Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for several days. Previously she had been a patient at the Rotary Ann Home, as she had been in failing health for several years.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the United Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. Donald Forbes. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Fischer is survived by her husband and four daughters, Mrs. Virgil Wilson, Miss June Fischer, Mrs. Bernard Maier of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Maris Wells of Ankeny.

Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Warren Hodgson, Mrs. Robert Willwerth and Mrs. Lucille Lempke, Eagle Grove.

Obituary

Ronelva Carrie Reddick was born October 1, 1897 at Streator, Ill., the daughter of James and Carrie Baker Reddick.

She attended the Newark Township grade school, the Eagle Grove High School and graduated from Fort Dodge High School.

She graduated from Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, taught school at Hartley, Ia. for three years and Rockwell City for 3½ years.

She was united in marriage to Roy W. Fischer, of Rockwell City, at Ft. Dodge, on July 27, 1925. The couple then made their home on a farm near Vincent until moving to Eagle Grove in 1949.

Mrs. Fischer had been in ill health for some time and died at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion, early Saturday morning, August 4, at the age of 75 years, 10 months and three days.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; four daughters, Lois, Mrs. Virgil Wilson; Miss June Edith Fischer; Vernice, Mrs. Bernard Maier of Eagle: Grove; Royetta, Mrs. Maris Wells, Ankeny; three sisters, Mrs. Warren Hodgson, Mrs. Robert Willwerth and Mrs. Lucille Lempke, Eagle Grove, also 18 grandchildren.

Mrs. Fischer was a member of the United Methodist Church, a church circle, WCTU and Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Janice, and one brother.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 7, at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove. Rev. Donald Forbes officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
