John Patrick Flood
22 February 1876 --- 18 November 1959

Memorial services for John Patrick Flood, 83, who died yesterday in the Phoenix Veterans Administration Hospital will be in Eagle Grove, Iowa, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary announced. Cremation will be here. A retired U.S. Army captain, he came to Phoenix three years ago from Santa Barbara, Calif. He had been in the army 30 years before retiring. He worked for the customs service 10 years before coming to Phoenix. A veteran of the Spanish American War and World War I, he was a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Marian E. and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dan Mickelson, Phoenix.
