June Edith Fischer died on Sunday, April 7, 2002, at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 72.

Survivors include three sisters, Lois Wilson, Eagle Grove, Vernice Maier, and husband, Bernard, Rockvale, Tenn., and Royetta Wells, Ankeny, Iowa; one aunt, Charlotte Wilwerth, Eagle Grove; 7 nieces, 11 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Janice Fischer.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 9, at 1:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove with Reverend William E. Ballard officiating. Burial was held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

June Edith Fischer, the daughter of Roy and Ronelva (Reddick) Fischer, was born on November 1, 1929, in rural Webster County, Iowa. She was educated in private schools in Des Moines, Iowa, Northfield, Minn., and lived many years in Handicapped Village in Clear Lake, Iowa. She enjoyed music and many other activities all of her life. She always looked forward to these activities while living at the Rotary Ann Home for 11 years.

Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
