When a small boy he removed with his parents to Havana, Ill., where he grew to manhood and on Jan. 29, 1869, he was united in marriage with Miss Susan Vaughn. In 1901 he and his wife removed to Clarion, locating on a farm seven miles northwest of town,
where they lived until a year ago, when they removed to a farm near Holmes, where Mr. Frambes death occurred. Mr. Frambes had been in failing health since last August, but was not considered seriously ill until last Sunday, when he was suddenly stricken with paralysis, from which he never rallied. He was of the Methodist faith, having united with the Sanner Chapel M. E. church near Macon Ill. in 1884.He was a man of integrity and uprightness of life, loved by all who knew him. His death removes a man of usefulness from our midst.
The funeral was held Saturday at 10 o'clock in the Baptist church in Holmes and interment was in the Eagle Grove [Rose Hill] cemetery. Rev. VanMetre of the Methodist church at Clarion officiated.
