January 12, 1880 --- May 12, 1962

Mrs. William Wehrheim, 82, died Saturday evening in Mercy hospital, Ft Dodge where she had been a patient about a week. She had surgery last Thursday but had been in frail health for some years. She maintained her home at 612 S. E. 2nd street, and her little granddaughter Elizabeth Smith made her home with her grandmother.

Mrs. Wehrheim is survived by two sons, Dr. Francis Wehrheim of El Paso, Tex., Robert of Clarion, two daughters, Mrs. Richard Henigar [Henegar] of Athens, Ga. and Mrs. Robert Divine [Devine] of Omaha. They were all present for the funeral services.

She is also survived by one sister Mrs. Andrew Christenson of Webster City, 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in Sacred Heart church in charge of Rev. Francis Phelan and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Rosary services were conducted Monday night at the Kastler Funeral home, by relatives and friends, and also by the Catholic Daughters of America.

Mrs. Wehrheim's husband was a long time Eagle Grove business man, in insurance and real estate and for many years he was city street commissioner. He died 25 years ago.

Mrs. Wehrheim, the former Katherine Dundon, was also preceded in death by two sons, Lawrence and Billy, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Smith, her parents and her brother James Dundon.
