February 15, 1883 --- August 28, 1967

Mrs. Abbie Grace Damon, 84, long time Eagle Grove resident died at Oak Ridge, Tenn., Monday, Aug. 28th. She had been making her home with her daughter, Alta Turner in Knoxville, Tenn. for the past few years.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral home in charge of Rev. Arthur Anderson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Damon is survived by three sons, at Brighton, Mich., Walter, Arthur and John; and four daughters, Myrtle Glendenning of Long Beach, Calif, Sylvia Anderson, Waterville, Ia., Ione Sherlock, Allen Park, Mich. and Mrs. Turner in Knoxville, Tenn. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Clinton Hill of Eagle Grove is one of the grandsons.
