May 25, 1871 --- April 24, 1943

Mrs. Hans Dale, 71, died at the home of her sister in Long Beach, Calif. The Wilson Funeral Chapel received a telegram asking that arrangements be made for burial Sunday afternoon. The remains will arrive at 1:17 p. m. over the Great Western. There will be no funeral services here, according to the instructions in the telegram. Mr. Dale passed away Sept. 20, 1933.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Dale, 71, were held Sunday afternoon at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. T. J. Severtson said the prayer at the grave, and the L. A. to the B. of R. T. gave the lodge burial service.

Mrs. Dale who had been in Long Beach, Calif., for the past year died in a hospital there following a ten day illness.

She was a member of the Christian Church in Des Moines, the W.R.C. of Long Beach, and the L. A. to the B. of R. T. of this city. She was a resident of this city for many years. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. R. H. Martin, Mrs. Ada Smith of Long Beach, Mrs. A. C. Foor of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. O. C. Matthess of Hollywood.

Relatives from out of town who were here for the burial were Miss Hannah Dale of Waterloo, L. A. Dale, M. E. Amlund, Mrs. Peter Dale, and Jasper Dale of Story City.
