Henry Quinsland
1 May 1892 --- August 17, 1928

Henry T. Quinsland was born May 1, 1892, near Goldfield, Iowa. His parents were Sivert and Tobia [Gunderson] Quinsland. He was baptized by Rev. O. Shefheland and confirmed by Rev. O. A. Anderson. Later on at the age of 16, he moved with his parents to Eagle Grove, where he continued to stay with his parents until about six years ago. Since that time he has lived in Fort Dodge, being in the employment of the railroad company.

Henry took sick suddenly last Sunday, the 12th of August. The sickness developed into dangerous complications with severe suffering. The end came on Friday, August 17, at 9 o'clock in the evening. His age at the time of his death was 36 years, three months and 16 days.

He leaves to mourn his departure, one son, Maynard, his mother, Mrs. Tobie Quinsland, and also two sisters namely, Mrs. Boletta Kaarhus, Ypsilanti, N. D., and Mrs. Anne Severson of Eagle Grove. He was preceded in death by his father, Sivert Quinsland, who died at Eagle Grove about four years ago.

The funeral service was held at the West Side Lutheran church on Tuesday, August 21, Rev. P. Ljostveit officiating.
