W. O. Eaton, 63, died Saturday, Nov 24, 1945, at the Estherville hospital, where he had been a patient for a week. He had been in ill health for some time

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Armstrong, Iowa Tuesday afternoon, at 1:00 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. Robert A. Grigsby. The Rev. A. W. Schmidt, pastor of the Free Methodist church gave the sermon. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove.

Wm. O. Eaton, son of Rev. J. G. and Mary Eaton, was born Feb. 1, 1882, at Leon, Iowa.

In 1906, he was united in marriage to Sophia Vike of Eagle Grove, Iowa, where they established a home and lived for seven years. To this union was born son, LeRoy, who has been recently discharged from the armed services and a daughter, LaFonne, of Los
Angeles, Calif.

Surviving are his wife, Sophia, a son, LeRoy, a daughter, LaFonne, his father, Rev. J. G. Eaton, two sisters, Maud Cline and Mrs. Gertrude Nelson, a brother Roy Eaton and also a grandson, Jerry Eaton. – Armstrong Journal.
