Mrs. Lewis Solheim Funeral Saturday
Mrs. Lewis Solheim, 78, died Thursday morning Oct. 21st at the Rotary Ann Home. Mrs. Solheim is survived by her husband, one son Martin Solheim, four grandchildren of Eagle Grove and two brothers Jacob Berg of Eagle Grove and Thomas Berg of Alberta, Canada. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Samuel Lutheran church with Pastor Jordan Jacobsen officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Solheim was born in Skjold, Norway in 1887, and came to America in 1908. She was married to Lewis Solheim in this city, Mar. 23, 1918 and they farmed in the Thor and Eagle Grove area, until
1950 when they moved to their home at 401 South Iowa Ave.

Mrs. (Louise) Lewis Solheim was born April 5, 1887 in Skjold, Norway. She was the daughter of Jacob and Marie Berg. She was baptized and confirmed in Haugesund, Norway. In 1908 she came to America. On March 23, 1918 she was united in marriage with Lewis Solheim in Eagle Grove. They farmed in the Thor and Eagle Grove area until they moved to Eagle Grove in 1950. Mrs Solheim died at the Rotary Ann Home Thursday Oct. 21.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jacob and Marie Berg. One brother, Martin Berg and by three sisters, Mrs. Jens Orsland, Mrs. Henry Orsland and Mrs G. K. Dahl. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Solheim, one son, Martin Solheim of Eagle Grove and by 4 grandchildren. Also by two brothers: Thomas Berg of Alberta, Canada and Jacob Berg of Eagle Grove. Mrs. Solheim was a member of Samuel Lutheran church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Samuel Lutheran church. Pastor
Jordan Jacobsen officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery of Eagle Grove.
