Dana Lee Koth Steil, was born on April 28,1957, at Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of Frank and Jean Adukinas Koth. As a small child, she moved with her parents to Aurelia, and later to Schaller.

She graduated from the Schaller High School and attended American Institute of Business in Des Moines and studied to be a medical secretary. She had been employed at the Electrical Materials Company in Fort Dodge for the past several years, and had worked until this late spring.

On Dec. 4, 1982, she was united in marriage with Dennis J. Steil of Eagle Grove at the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Grove and had made their home in Eagle Grove and Vincent. For the past few weeks she had been confined to her home and the hospital.

She died on Monday morning, Aug. 8, 1983 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, at the age of 26 years, three months and 10 days. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Grove.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Steil of Eagle Grove; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koth of Schaller; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Regina Steil of Eagle Grove and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dennis (Dana Lee) Steil, 26 of Eagle Grove, were held Aug. 11, 1983 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Grove. Rev. Fr. John Hemann officiated and the burial was in the family lot at Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Rosary services were held on Wednesday evening at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.
