October 14, 1876 --- January 4, 1954

Willis Hilton, 77, retired farmer of R. R. 1, Normal, died at 6:15 p. m. Monday at a Peoria hospital. He had been ill about five days. He was taken to Stubblefield and Son Memorial Home where funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Park Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Hilton was born Oct. 14, 1876, at Normal the son of Jacob N. and Louisa Bohrer Hilton. He married Ida Mae Massey Dec. 21, 1911 at Clarion, Iowa. They lived and farmed on the same farm on which Mr. Hilton was born. Mr. Hilton is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Becker, R. R. 1. Normal; a sister. Mrs. Leslie Ernst, 2116 E. Oakland Ave.: a brother. Rolph Hilton, Los Angeles, Calif., and Guy A. Hilton, R. R. 4, Bloomington, and two grandchildren.
