F. BRECKENRIDGE DIES IN OREGON
FORMER LOSTANT MAN SUCCUMBS FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

LOSTANT - March 28 - (Special) Floyd P. Breckenridge, 64, former resident of Lostant and father of Dale Breckenridge of this community, died at 10:15 o'clock Thursday morning at his home in Klamath Falls, Ore. He had been in failing health for 12 years. The body will be brought to Lostant for services and burial, but arrangements are incomplete.

The son of the late Robert and Hester (McClure) Breckenridge, the decedent was born in Clarion, Iowa October 15, 1887. He was married to the former Bessie Cofoid February 3, 1910, and they engaged in farming in the vicinity of Streator and Lostant for about 35 years. Mr. Breckenridge retired in 1945, when they went to Oregon to make their home. Surviving, in addition to his wife and son, are two grandsons. A son. Lt. Glen Breckenridge, was killed in action during World War II.
