Graveside services for Margery W. Hoyt, 68, 216 N. Elm St., will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. The service will be conducted by Dennis Atherton of Sunset Church of Christ.

Mrs. Hoyt died Oct. 15, 1986, in a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 28, 1917, in Clarion, Iowa, where she was raised and received her education, graduating from Clarion High School. She and the late Kenneth Hoyt were married Aug. 10, 1936, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and made their home in Clarion until moving to Carlsbad in 1942. She had been employed as a clerk in various grocery stores in Carlsbad. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ, and Green Heights Extension Club.

Survivors include two brothers, Clyde and Ralph Williams, Carlsbad; one sister, Lillian Schnell, Goldfield, Iowa; and seven nieces and nephews.

West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
